Clipping parts are still included your peace of mind. The system includes a lead-free faucet with beautiful chrome finish which is usually mounted on the counter as the primary source of drinking water. The CUW4 also easily adapts to fit nearly any refrigerator or ice maker connection.
Q: The filter replacement indicators don't have any feedback from intake/output. How does it calculate filters lives? Or does it just base on reset time?
A:

It calculates the filter life based on reset time. The service life is only an estimate and the actual maintenance cycle will vary according to geographic location, local water quality, amount of use, and season of the year.

Q: Dose this unit remove fluoride?
A:

The CUW4 can't reject fluoride. Please check out our RTW5 Series RO systems to help reduce fluoride in your drinking and cooking water.

Q: How do I add reverse Osmosis to this system? Or would it be cheaper just to purchase a new system?
A:

You cannot add reverse osmosis to this system. If you need to reduce overall dissolved solids in the water (reduce TDS) or remove heavy concentrations of harmful metals like lead or copper, a reverse osmosis system like the RTW5 is recommended. But for all-around high-performance water filtration, or where space is at a premium, the CUW4 is the best and the most economical choice for instantly clean, fresh, great-tasting water.

Q: Will this remove the sulfur smell from the well water?
A:

This system will help in reducing smells coming from the water. However, we do recommend finding the source of the sulfur smell in your home as it may be indicative of an underlying issue that may not be able to be filtered through the system.

Check the filters

This unit is pretty bulky under my sink. The filtered water is great, it flows easily until it’s time to change the filter. Filters are very expensive compared to the unit. I encourage you to shop both the filter and replacement cartridges.

We had this installed under the sink when we built our home. This is the second year of using and it’s going good. Just purchased our second set of filters. The last set were installed in February 2023. My husband just told me the water tasted funny. I forgot to set a reminder to replace. A year before replacement says a lot. We use to fill dogs water bowls, make tea and fill water bottles for the frig. It gets lots of use

I installed this in my 5th wheel camper as we live full time. Easy to install and works as advertised. That water tastes great. A couple months after I installed it I got a call from Don asking me how the install went and if I was happy with their product. Great customer service.
