Works great!!

I installed this in my 5th wheel camper as we live full time. Easy to install and works as advertised. That water tastes great. A couple months after I installed it I got a call from Don asking me how the install went and if I was happy with their product. Great customer service. I would highly recommend this unit for your drinking water.

First purchase we made for our new 5th wheel travel trailer.

We purchased one of these units last spring for our travel trailer. We were tired of buying water bottles when we traveled, and wanted to have a better solution. The unit was a breeze to install, and wwe loved the taste of the water. We recently upgraded out travel trailer so that we can spend more time on the road. The same day we got home, I ordered the Pure Drop water filtration system. If you are looking for a simple to install, compact system, I highly recommend the CUW4.

The water tastes better than I thought it would!

I like the small size and the low price, it was easy to install and use. It takes a little time to fill containers but I just put a pitcher down and let it fill up, easy!

This is just a filter, not RO

This is a great package. It supplied an endless amount of clean water. Be warned, this is not the same as reverse osmosis. You still have to deal with mineral deposits on a weekly basis.

Quick install, reasonably priced..

Took me about 25 minutes to install. I am familiar with basic plumbing so I always existing water supply valves before I start opening things up that won't fit back with out additional adapters. LCD didn't turn on.. called customer support, Nick was very helpful. Stayed on till LCD came on. ( hold both reset buttons for 10 seconds ).

Q: The filter replacement indicators don't have any feedback from intake/output. How does it calculate filters lives? Or does it just base on reset time?

It calculates the filter life based on reset time. The service life is only an estimate and the actual maintenance cycle will vary according to geographic location, local water quality, amount of use, and season of the year.

Q: Dose this unit remove fluoride?
A:

The CUW4 can't reject fluoride. Please check out our RTW5 Series RO systems to help reduce fluoride in your drinking and cooking water.

Q: How do I add reverse Osmosis to this system? Or would it be cheaper just to purchase a new system?
A:

You cannot add reverse osmosis to this system. If you need to reduce overall dissolved solids in the water (reduce TDS) or remove heavy concentrations of harmful metals like lead or copper, a reverse osmosis system like the RTW5 is recommended. But for all-around high-performance water filtration, or where space is at a premium, the CUW4 is the best and the most economical choice for instantly clean, fresh, great-tasting water.

Q: Will this remove the sulfur smell from the well water?
A:

This system will help in reducing smells coming from the water. However, we do recommend finding the source of the sulfur smell in your home as it may be indicative of an underlying issue that may not be able to be filtered through the system.
